This isn't just a solo adventure—it's something I'm building with you. A roadtrip through Portugal, capturing its nature, culture, and hidden gems through streams, vlogs, and stories.
With Pixel by my side, we're turning dreams into motion. But it'll take all of us to make it real—your support, encouragement, and shared excitement will drive this forward.
We kick off our roadtrip with Pixel sprinting along endless golden beaches, exploring Esposende's peaceful dunes, Viana do Castelo's old streets and Santa Luzia views, then Moledo and Âncora for salty air and calm seas. Ending the week in Caminha, where the river hugs Spain, with seafood dinners and sunsets over the Atlantic.
Leaving the coast behind, we journey inland to Ponte de Lima's medieval bridges and gardens before entering Gerês National Park. We'll visit Vilarinho da Furna, the ghost village submerged by the dam, hike to waterfalls, then head to Braga's sacred Bom Jesus and explore the mysterious Citânia de Briteiros ruins. We end this week wandering Guimarães' medieval streets and climbing to Mondim de Basto's Senhora da Graça for breathtaking mountain views.
This week takes us deep into Portugal's rugged north. We'll visit Montalegre's mighty castle and barrosã cattle lands, stroll Chaves' Roman bridge and thermal squares, then enter Montesinho Natural Park, exploring tiny stone villages lost in time. We end with Bragança's medieval citadel and Miranda do Douro's river canyon, where Portugal kisses Spain among dramatic cliffs.
We descend into the Douro Valley, starting in Vila Real's Mateus Palace gardens, then cruising into Pinhão for vineyards, wine tastings, and river reflections. Peso da Régua offers panoramic terraces over endless vines, while Lamego's grand stairways and sanctuaries echo with history. We'll taste sweet cherries in Resende and wander Baião's rolling hills as we drive south along the glittering Douro riverbanks.
Our final week loops us back to Porto through some hidden gems. We'll stroll Amarante's romantic riverfront, explore Marco de Canaveses' Roman ruins at Tongobriga, then brave the skies at Arouca's 516-meter suspension bridge and hike Passadiços do Paiva's wooden walkways over wild rivers. Finally, we stop by Maceda's pine forests meeting the sea, before driving home, hearts full of Portugal's stories.
